We recently made this amazing DIY Eucalyptus Christmas Wreath, originally found on Homemade Ginger, and we want you to have this beautiful, fragrant piece in your home as well!
For this project, you will need:
- Hula hoop
- Spray Paint
Start with your hula hoop and spray paint it gold. Feel free to use whatever colour palette you prefer, though gold fit our office space well. Start wrapping twine around the shape, similar to a dream catcher wreath, but with no pattern.
Begin to tie on branches of eucalyptus sourced from your nearest florist. Alternatively, you can use fake branches to make the wreath last longer, though you won't get that great smelling scent that comes from fresh plants. Use the twine to secure your branches to the hoop.
The last step is optional, though we added the word joy for a festival touch. Attach your preferred lettering to the wreath, either with twine or a little drop of hot glue.
Now step back and enjoy your new Festival ornament for the Christmas season. Now pour yourself a glass of wine, you deserve it.
